We care about old fireplaces and over the years we have seen what can happen when the wrong person attempts to handle fragile marble mantles.
For this reason much of our work comes via builders who are only too happy for us to take responsibility for their client’s fireplaces.
Balgowlah Fireplaces can build a fireplace from the foundations up or work with an existing fireplace.
We recommend Jetmaster fireboxes where efficient burning is a prerequisite.
We install hearths and can rebuild/re-support footings if required.
If you have purchased a marble mantle elsewhere we can quote to install it.
